Kareeta’s second album (released July 7th, 2023) was recorded at Spacecamp, deep in the Northern California redwoods. Greg Loiacono returns as producer, with Dave Schools joining the band on bass, Jason Reed at the board, and acclaimed songwriter Jerry Joseph sitting in as a special guest on the title track.
Since the recording and release of Kareeta’s first album (also produced by Loiacono), the band has sustained a solid live show schedule. Highlights have included playing with The Mother Hips at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, being part of the Hips’ New Year’s Eve run at Harlow’s in Sacramento, festival appearances in Lake Tahoe, June Lake, and Arizona, several performances along the California Central Coast, a headlining run in Colorado, multiple trips to Las Vegas, and a residency at The Wayfarer in Orange County. Upcoming tour stops include Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, and returns to the San Francisco Bay Area, Central California, Colorado, and Las Vegas, to name a few, of which several dates are part of a series of shows coupled with legendary guitarist Marc Ford and his band.
